Two Chefs, Many Influences
Pops Helfer and Jason Helfer are a father and son duo of various cooking styles. The menu has influences from great-grandma's 200 year old recipe book to seafood specials Jason learned in Charlestown.

Location
The Peasant Village Restaurant is located across the Concho River from downtown San Angelo in the heart of West Texas. We founded The Peasant Village Restaurant on April 5, 1995, where we now bring the same culinary delights from around the world to our friends of San Angelo
Executive Chef Jason Helfer graduated from the University of Johnson and Wales, Charleston, South Carolina, and moved to Texas to open the restaurant with his father, “Pops” Art Helfer.
